Steinway Lyngdorf approaches cinema as a tightly integrated digital ecosystem. The P300 2.1 decodes sixteen native channels, but its internal mapping architecture can support very large numbers of loudspeakers through Steinway Digital Link.
That makes it fundamentally different from a conventional XLR processor. It is most compelling when the loudspeakers, amplification, bass management and RoomPerfect calibration are designed as one Steinway & Sons system rather than assembled from unrelated components.
