AltitudeCI

A new-generation 2U Altitude platform, licensed from 8 to 32 outputs in two-channel increments with 64-channel build-to-order configurations, native Dante/AES67 and the full Optimizer, Remapping and WaveForming software stack.

WHY IT EXISTS
The Altitude architecture rebuilt around networked custom installation.

AltitudeCI separates processor channel licensing from physical output cards. Standard models can be configured in two-channel increments from eight to thirty-two outputs, while larger 64-channel build-to-order systems extend the same platform into theatrical-scale projects.

Every licensed channel can be routed across the available analog, AES/EBU or networked outputs, allowing the rack to evolve without treating each connector type as a separate processor.

SYSTEM THINKING
01Start with the speaker layout and subwoofer plan.
02Confirm the required analog, digital or network outputs.
03Establish room-correction and calibration requirements.
04Then match amplification, control and HDMI architecture.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
AoIP-first does not mean analog-free.

Eight balanced analog outputs remain available for hybrid systems, while up to thirty-two AES/EBU inputs/outputs and Dante/AES67 provide the main digital scale.

The practical benefit is not simply fewer cables. Amplifier location, DAC placement, rack density, channel expansion and DCI-style source integration can all be approached differently.

ROOM / BASS OPTIMISATION

The acoustic software is the same reason to buy it.

Optimizer, Remapping and WaveForming run across the licensed channels at full resolution. The network architecture changes how audio moves through the rack; it does not replace the core Trinnov acoustic technologies.

AltitudeCI uses the newer Ethercon-powered Trinnov 3D microphone and the current streamlined calibration workflow.

WHERE IT FITS

When we would shortlist it

New-build cinemas where Dante/AES67 is part of the infrastructure from the beginning.

High-channel-count WaveForming or active systems where networked amplifiers reduce analog loom complexity.

Projects expected to grow beyond thirty-two outputs, or DCI-style rooms that benefit from AES67/AES integration.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

The AltitudeCI decision is architectural before it is numerical.

The defining change is not simply a new chassis. AltitudeCI is a network-first Altitude platform: standard configurations scale from 8 to 32 outputs in two-channel steps, with larger build-to-order configurations, while the same Optimizer, Remapping and WaveForming toolset remains central to the system.

OUTPUT LICENSING

Buy the output count the room needs.

The platform is licensed in two-channel increments rather than expanded by fitting output cards. That makes the initial speaker and subwoofer plan unusually important.

ROUTING

Analog, AES/EBU and AoIP can be assigned around the project.

The processor can feed conventional amplification, digital devices or networked audio infrastructure without forcing every channel down the same physical path.

CALIBRATION

The acoustic toolset remains fully Trinnov.

Optimizer, 3D measurement, Remapping and WaveForming are not reduced to fit the CI platform. They remain the reason the processor can be designed around complex rooms.

Most compelling whenthe project benefits from AoIP, scalable output licensing, dense rack integration, advanced bass architecture or a clear path beyond a conventional analog-only processor.
MODEL-SPECIFIC DESIGN NOTES

Designed for high-channel-count digital cinema racks

AltitudeCI brings Trinnov's software-defined processing, Optimizer, loudspeaker remapping and WaveForming tools to a compact integration platform. Its output architecture is aimed at networked or digital downstream systems, so amplifier and endpoint compatibility must be planned at the same time as channel count.

It is most compelling when a project needs the flexibility and calibration depth of Altitude but deliberately wants a compact, digitally connected rack.
